Title: Dealing with jealousy Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Oct 31, 2020 02:04 pm Some moments of awakening are not always of a wonderful experience. I know because I had spent many years with a friend of mine and he was jealous of me. I kept trying to encourage him in his personal life to do things he was able to do and even things that he had difficulty doing. Little did I know at the time I did these things, I was also helping myself and slowly recognizing my own envy about people. That is the irony of Gods sense of humor in our spiritual training but also, it is the fringe benefit of trying to be kind and help someone else with no seeming reward. We are given the opportunity to awaken to our own spiritual shortcomings. And address them.
