Intellect blocks psychic awareness

Over the years I've recognized how the intellect has deterred people from experiencing psychic awareness. It is because the ego identifies with the  intellect and will not allow any experiences from the senses to be overridden. The ego will defend it's intellectual view of reality for a life time. And deny any experiences of a psychic origin.
