Right Attitude Gyanamata. We must develop it on our behalf and ask that the proper lessons and understanding are given to develop it. Our attitudes are constantly changing and evolving due to the association we keep with the Masters, who are helping us develop spiritual attitudes and attributes.

Of all Master's disciples, Sri Gyanamata is the dearest to my heart. Early on the path I didn't want to read her book God Alone as a friend told me how uniquely advanced and pure she is and I already felt way out of my depth with the teachings, the techniques and my own bad habits. But now I read her book on permanent rerun, usually a reading each day before morning meditation. It's a guide to all serious devotees in all areas we need in our lives to keep attuned and moving forward. Her example of overcoming pain is what has helped most for me personally.

Thanks for reminding us of this spiritual giant, her presence silently towering above the community of Yogananda's disciples. I should pull her book outside of the cardboard box where it is now. I presently feel attuned to the cosmic vibration of wisdom. My present situation is giving me the opportunity to develop this quality.

Gyanamata, Mother of Wisdom. You can't go wrong reading her book to help with your attunement to wisdom. Many of the books on saints that she mentions in God Alone I have purchased and feel they have helped immensely. I know for many they just stick to SRF readings and I can appreciate that but I like to read about all the saints from the different paths as it adds impetus to my will power to keep on despite the many obstacles that seem to follow us all the way along. A very wise teacher I once had reduced every story to three words..."obstacles beset desire". When God is the desire, perhaps the obstacles are the most profound?

I think so, because this is a desire that would take us straight out of this illusion. And Satan hates it when souls leave this illusory world.
