There are so many nature scents that bring my thoughts back to my breath and mantra. Today the air was cool and moist as the humidity is often is quite thick where I live but it is usually cool enough to enjoy it.

Also smell the moist leaves and the fragrance of the forest and trees. This time of the year in autumn there are manny people burning leaves which actually is a nice fragrance.

I love those smells as well, the one which lingers in my mind recently is the smell of cut grass after having mowed the lawn.
My great privilege is to live outside town, in the full countryside and surrounded by plants and woods. It is also a curse since there are always so many chores, merely trying to contain the weeds is a major endeavor.
And the trees grew up so much over the years that I had to fell a few ones, they may become dangerous with too much wind or snow.
Lots of wild boars around, sometimes browsing in packs just around my house. And since we are speaking of scents, their scent may attract wolves.

Also find that the steam of a shower lends it self to a different environment that stimulates meditation and observing the breath. The scent of steam is stimulating on on the olfactory nerves.

At some point we had told include incense in our discussion. I do not recall ever going to spiritual gatherings without the use of incense at some times in their gatherings.

People complain about it being to cold or hot but actually it helps us be more aware of breath when we are exposed to different temperatures.

My favorite so far was last year when all the wild roses came out. The edge of the woods around me are adorned with them. The smell was fantastic. Funny thing for me I like the smell of a skunk too. Far off of course. Isn't that weird?

"Weird is just a side effect of being awesome."
I saw that the other day, made me lol.
I smelt fresh jasmine out of nowhere. I was with my friend LaurenLoo.
It was a wonderful experience.
