Consciousness in all activities.

I’ve been observing my thoughts more and more over the years to the point that I’ll be jogging up a hill and observe my thoughts begin to tell me “I’m getting worn out going up this hill.” Recently while meditating I notice that the mind continues its conversations beyond the mantra it should be centering it’s attention on or the Kriya it is practicing. It is an interesting phenomenon listening to the thoughts and how they occupy our time. Always attempting to bring them on God and more positive subjects.

We often may have the chance to see others around us who have a craft or art they engage themselves in and recognize the attention and focus they give to such activities. Which make them so helpful as friends and inspirational to watch. Focus and consciousness awareness is so important to art, mechanical work, sports, music and meditation as well. People who become restless and give up loose their value at the service they attempt to provide. And the more distraction around us, the less we are able to accomplish anything worthwhile.
