Eric i have made this into a topic of its own standing as I am of the conviction that it is something that affects friends in general and does not cover just one topic such as ‘Tyranny’

I wonder if you really care to hear my response because I really do have a response but you have made so many points in your last entry that it would require several responses. Most of the time I have the distinct feeling you do not care to hear my responses but would rather just make your points, that is one of the challenges you had with SI and perhaps why we haven’t heard from him. You really didn’t care to hear his responses to your Dream journal.  He really did not seem to think you should have taken offense as you appeared to think. That is why other members are unlikely to be involved. Some friends of mine have left this site, but are still ‘friends’, because they cannot tolerate the ‘extreme’ views here. Although, can we help that? When members start taking things personally it is difficult to have civil conversations.

Both of us have had to stand back and watch while other members had their squabbles and at times temper tantrum’s. When I have attempted to intervene to bring peace to the situations sometimes it was much like a cat fight. When you try to make peace you yourself get all clawed up and you can easily be considered an instigator of the original challenge they faced.  But when you remain silent those involved wonder why you cannot support their views or concerns. As you know there are many, if not most people that do the same. So I am not singling you out on that one by any means. On the contrary,  I will say one thing in your favor and I believe mine as well….. We never banned a member at this site and you certainly could have since you were an administrator for years. Which means both of us are willing to hear other views, and I do read your posts carefully in spite of their origins and the various legal challenges they face. That is because I value our friendship. But I can’t ignore the implications of what some of those sources and sites continue doing to others when I evaluate your entries especially since they may be viewed as indicating the views of this site.
