On our spiritual journey we may find that others feel they have been used as a doormat or have been abused in some way. This does not mean that they have learned their lessons and will not use us abusively. We may be the recipient of negative energies fostered by others while they themselves continue to bemoan the fact that they have been treated abusively. It is for us to understand and determine at what point a relationship is no longer affirming our aspirations and interests. No relationship is perfect but there comes a time when we must recognize that many relationships are parasitical and drain us and are not nourishing us as we attempt to be helpful towards others. At times we find ourselves feeding off the negative energies of others.

Always strive to look within, ask God for help in understanding what is happening or for Strength to move on. Sometimes it isn't clear until separation occurs, and separation is natural. Never be afraid to look at the why and share forgiveness when the time is right. You can't control what others choose to harbor but you can work through your own gunk by giving it to God and free your self with Compassion
 Disagreements are natural, and we aren't always expected to understand. Sometimes you just have to move on and choose Love and Joy or misery and dissapointment. When every act is done with Faith that God has a valuable offering for you, you can view the world through an opportunistic lense. Treat others the way you wish to be treated.

Thanks for the response friend. I will read a few times and assimilate. Its been on my mind a while now. Some people do not even know or appear to have explanations for all there behaviors even though their actions can be cruel. They seem to think that they should be accepted for the way they are. And may even think we owe them an apology. It is difficult to reason with some people. Sharing forgiveness doesn’t always seem appropriate when you know the abusive behaviors do not stop with an apology from our side.
