Seeing the beauty in other peoples search

What is intriguing about meditation is that we are always making the attempt to go deeper; experience deeper states of consciousness. When we attempt to do that or we have a proclivity to get to the bottom of things we are expressing a spiritual longing for understanding. When we see that quality in others we recognize that spiritual longing for meaning and understanding. We will then bring many people into our lives that have a longing to get beyond the surface and they may have many different experiences that are quite unusually different than us in that search. Yet after a while we begin to see a pattern emerging. That pattern brings to light many motivations and dimensions of reality and understanding that most people do not barely scratch the surface about. When we see this in others at times we feel in conflict because their experiences with understanding and their recognition of what is happening beyond the surface may come in conflict with our own.

However, one thing that is not in conflict is the fact that they too are looking deeper into levels of consciousness, dimensions of reality and social patterns of behavior. So they may tap into a different realization then our own. However the commonality is that they are searching, like us, and have much to offer in their different perspective. In fact we can use their pieces of the puzzle to put together a larger perspective to our own. I’ve noticed that with Saints and Master’s they are more able to include the understanding of others in their own understanding and show a concern and empathy towards everyone they meet.

I wonder if we can call this Reality- ONE. Maybe with compassionate eyes we can see the Living Spirit running through us all, and this Earth and its inhabitants are in actuality one Being experiencing a type of... responsive programming.

Yea we all see a little part or small pieces to the puzzle. But most people think that’s all there is because it’s the little pieces of reality they perceive.  When  we fit pieces together and start seeing an image appear… then we realize how much we are in need of the other pieces to be able to see clearly the totality of the picture.
