Embrace this unique perspective on Yoga of Perfection during the critical time periods when the two largest planets become conjunct on the winter solstice, coinciding with time junctures where chaos due to a peaking clash of ideologies precipitates a global transformation.
His Holiness will also briefly review the role of Jupiter and Saturn and their relationship with the time cycles of Rahu and Ketu (the energy nodes or shadow planets). He will mention how the time periods of 18, 19 and 20 years play out in our lives along with a larger time span of 275 to 300 years constituting a mini era. His Holiness will again review how Jupiter represents expansion and inhalation while Saturn represents contraction and exhalation, and what that means on a global scale.
Saturn and Jupiter... correct. It is indeed an interesting time. Thanks for taking the time to describe it well in advance Eric. I will also say something’s about these planets. For now suffice it to say you have two competing energies. One of contraction (Saturn) and one of expansion (Jupiter). In a sense one energy would nullify the other. I would be interested to hear how Swami describes these energies working out on the world stage. I’m more used to individual and astrology related to couples.
A great conjunction is a conjunction of the planets Jupiter and Saturn. Great conjunctions occur regularly (every 19.6 years, on average) due to the combined effect of Jupiter's approximately 11.86-year orbital period and Saturn's 29.5-year orbital period. The next great conjunction will occur on 21 December 2020.
Astrologers are already predicting social unrest and change:
https://www.allure.com/story/great-conjunction-saturn-jupiter-2020Jupiter is a generous leader who’s associated with health, wealth, and having a good time, while Saturn favors strict responsibility and setting limits. When they have to collaborate, you can expect power struggles over the best way to “rule.” On the macro level, it’s likely to bring about a cultural moment when things change irrevocably, whether we’re ready or not. Politics shift toward the progressive and away from calcified ideas that have outlived their usefulness. It’s a changing of the guard, so to speak.
