Intereststs; Meditation/Spiritual Life

To me, the most important element of meditation is relaxation. This is because rarely in my many years of practice have I had any positive results without it. By this I mean if you are stiff, part of your body hurts, you are being bitten by bugs, flies or mosquitoes, there is a lot of noise around,  then it is better to just move or find a better place to meditate rather than have a stoic view of waiting it out. Yes there have been times where I had not too much opportunity to change my body position because of making noise for others (as in group meditation) or been able to suddenly find a better place to meditate because of the time limits I was facing. However when it was possible it was better to find the conditions in which I was relaxed.
