Can vanity ever be considered a good thing? From a spiritual point of you it might not seem so but when we look at the opposite or antonyms of the word vanity we find they are not always such a spiritual quality either.

How does one have a good image of themselves without having vanity as a result? Perhaps this is a question that must be a task of the Guru to reveal to the disciple; since it is very difficult to see ourselves from a spiritual perspective until we have reached such a level of understanding.
