Hey Steve,
No it was just frustrations trying to nitpick from my cellphone. Again.
I should learn not to care so much about something that matters so little.
While I'm here, you will see improvements!
Best to fill the fridge with healthy alternatives. Bored eating happens a lot. While we may not have mastery over our impulses, we can in the meantime curb the damage by stocking foods and beverages that promote wellness. If you're going to binge, at least it's spinach or blackberries instead of whatever guilty pleasure you indulge in.
I find stimulation and addiction seem to play on each other and in the process try to remember my greater goals with overall health, practice moderating the not so healthy impulses and forgiving myself when falling into any old and undesirable patterns developed over years and years. There are things we enjoy that are bad for us and where we draw the line is totally up to us... Eventually and to some degree of suffering we learn what is sustainable and what is not. I am for the middle path with the hopes of cultivating mindfulness. Ebb and flow... always hopeful and willing to fight!
In today's world, we are overstimulated and younger generations think having a cellphone follow them into the bathroom is the norm. Scary stuff. Hope you liked the video! Saw this episode of South park after reading your thread here.
