Autumn

Autumn is such a wonderful time for me because it means it gets cooler and all the little bugs like mosquitoes don't bite as much. As a matter of fact they don't bite at all as it gets cooler so you can walk thru the leaves and hear their sound as they blow in the wind and you toss them up with your feet. You can sit still and smell the wet leaves... sometimes rushing water and the wind becomes more and more stronger. The cool breeze and the cooler nights add to a blanket around you as you meditate in the peaceful twilight and the silent mid night. All is quiet now it that time of day that we get relief from the day and all its activities. We can retreat into a spiritual world and inner serenity. We can remember autumns gone by with bitter sweet reflection and also see how far we have progressed thru the years.  We can reflect on all the people we love and all the things we can be thankful for. We can study spiritual subjects and pray for our friends and that our efforts bear fruit!
