I sure hope to be one that has successfully discarded his map and burned his karma by the end of this physical sojourn. 30 years have passed, 15 have been spent consciously going the wrong direction. Now it's a lifetime battle to try and steer the ship along the desired course. The psychological battle is real.
Yea I understand Eric sometimes I just get bored with myself. My lack of seeming progress and backlapses. But the recognition does encourage me to get out of the doldrums. I remember a friend used to tell me how he felt this sense of inertia. Often those we come in contact with mirror - perhaps magnified - our personalities. Slow by slow. The Journey of a Thousand Miles Begins with One Step. You have to take the first step, and then the second, the third, and all the steps that separate you from your goal. This is valid for every goal, small or big, relating to you. I take consolation in the thought that I can always redirect my thoughts towards God and enlightenment.
