hello my friend
the ravens here are much larger than crows.

they've been in my life lately. usually in pairs. sometimes by themselves.
i took a new route to work today and found one standing in the middle of the road. i came to a stop and just watched him til he flew away.

i found this site on the raven blending different cultural views and taking some known facts about the raven, a nice find. i was surprised to find this animal is similar to the mockingbird with its ability to mimic other bird calls.

People drawn to the Raven as a totem have a naturally inventive and mischievous air about them. You will never be afraid of darkness… in fact you embrace it with a passion. You can walk, swim, or fly while remaining totally quiet, which is also the time during which you really connect with the Divine and Higher Self.
