I have found that depth of meditation is one of the most important elements of meditation practice and progress. One of the key ways of experiencing deeper meditation is by practicing the presence of God at all times of day and night. Quite often I find myself busy doing other things and forget to think of my relationship with God which is the most important activity in the day.

Yes that is why it is so important to have spiritual friends regardless of their different views. We get distracted from life’s purpose with material minded human beings. People sometimes ask me why there is not more membership activity at this site. I think it is important to realize that out of one thousand people one person seeks God. And out of 1,000 people who seek God … one finds him. Servicing others brings good karma but activity does not bring enlightenment. Quite to the contrary enlightenment comes in stillness. The less activity the better.

The more you feel peace in meditation, the closer you are to God. He moves nearer and nearer to you the deeper you enter into meditation. The peace of meditation is the language and embracing comfort of God. There, God is present right on the throne of peace within you. Find him there first and you’ll find him in all the noble pursuit of life, in true friends, in the beauty of nature, in good books and good thoughts, in Noble aspirations. Finding peace within you, you will know that whatever in life gives you lasting peace, is declaring the presence of God without as well as within. When you know God as peace within, then you will realize him as peace existing in the universal harmony of all things without.
