"Planetary" bodies
exhibit "tidal waves"
The Moon being part of the Trinity of Sun Earth Moon system...
may be a wonderful echo of the polarities, of many other echos...
our human physical apparatus is composed of 60% of water by mass,
(as the ocean, whose tides swell and ebb in the force of the gravity waves of the sun and moon,
so consider,
are we beyond influence of the tidal force of the moon ?)...
one who knows, Knows,
one who ponders and reflects, he/she is near ?...
so how do these other "planetary tidal forces" echo in our garments human realm...
for in each Nature Realm expressed there are "mechanisms" ?
"Mechanisms" by which the
-- outward (Physics / Karma / Realm of Unit Cause and Effect)
and
-- inward (Meta-Physics - Graces - Majestic Austerities - Siddhis)
How do these "Mechanisms" (such as Moon) appear to manifest ?

Ah, very interesting, the New or Full Moon ...
I notice in some Female yoginis, and other females...
(and yes, Male formations, though the Female as Nature express and view more apparent -- bless the Feminine form)
that the "Moon" influence is very strong (i.e. - more noticeably manifest observable),
and yet in other females / males rather muted...
likely in aspect to their garment
(the astrological aspects of their Natal and progressions and transits...)
many tides and forces animate this "hobby" ?
yet, strip away that what we may...
and what remains ?
in each attempt in cycling experiment attempts -- in samadhis ("With-Difference" --see PY Gita p. 118 - Patanjali RE: Samadhi(s))
in each "Experience"

So what remains,
when we Sit,
We still the oscillations of Body and Mind...
for 5 hours we may sit...
moving thru postures, to ease the back/hips/legs/shoulders/neck/head/etc,
we may fast and feed on certain foods to clear the body...
to move the body in walk, and swim, and hatha yoga,...
then with body optimized... like an NFL athlete, we approach some game day...
we then must face the foe, of Mind (the field)...
and then must see the Tidal Forces exhibit...
?
the patterns flow that animate the garment Bardo (transition realms)...
but beyond all of this...
persisting, beyond all the days and months attempting to ease and prepare and optimize the aparatus physical (and even outward physical)...
we are in 'game day'... ?
it is then we face another foe...
and the Moon and Tidal forces even become not moving upon our Core / Nucleus ?
and we find another foe ?
The Mind --
The Field --
?
We sit for 5 hours, body undisturbed,...
yet Mind it oscilates...
we play with it's stuff (Mind Stuff,.... mental wanderings,... playing with thoughts, playing with daydreams)...
yet somehow we remain...
BATTLE...
we ease,
find Core, Nucleus...
Sraddha (Heart's Natural Love)...
we strip away the Thought -- we think, but are not the thought...
we breathe, but are not the Breath...
THAT which remains.. we begin to SEE ?

we may sit for hours to configure the Physical (as the NFL athlete reaches Zenith)...
we may sit beyond that..
to sit for 5 hours to 'tune out restless thoughts'...
but in this way we 'attain' ?
In the "Be Still and know the Lord thy God"...
we do not enter a "Void",
rather,
we awaken into a platform
simple
pure
gentle
humble
expansive
pure Experience
pure Compassion
in this,
the "Vain Idea of a Seperate Existence Vanishes"

What a "Hobby" this is ?
And of the moon,
yes,... it's tidal forces are significant !
and yet we may strip them away ? !
(What a Paradox in this realm ?)

Different planetary motions activate emotions, sensual and spiritual energies as well. The point is that we are not dead inert rocks--which also have some kind of life as little as it may seem-- but rather we are affected by energies around us. It is what we do with these energies that makes the difference. The Moon awakens our emotions and reflects changing emotions in our make up. However without some emotions we would be rather dry and without feeling for others as well as life itself. We can often watch these emotions play upon our being and discover much about ourselves, life and the people around us. Our emotional nature is reflected thru the Moons motion thru the heavens and its interaction with other planetary and solar system events and movements.
