Hey Steve I saw a petrified baked potato with possibly neolithic origins while passing through Los Angeles.

Fry it up on the skillet with some portobello mushrooms. Add Basil and a bit of tenderizer to soften it up. Sometimes these old geezers r a bit tough.  U see em with the lizards, growing between the rocks in the canyons in these here areas.
