Title: Controlling our environment and the people in it Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Jun 23, 2025 10:10 am People and animals will always leave us either by choice or when it's time to leave this planet. We have to learn how to take such occurrences with grace; knowing that the time of departure is like much of life. That is; We can not control such things. As much as we may want to control our environment and the creatures in it we are not meant to do so. This is one of the great lessons and challenges that life gives us which we have to face. I say this because in the last few years I’ve noticed many people who attempt to control their environment and the people and creatures in it. It is a great lesson of life that we need to learn to ‘let go’ and ‘let God.’ Divine order knows much better than us how to arrange and determine our lives. We’ve had people attempt to control this site in various ways. Many have left for their own personal freedom and their views. Others have taken the attitude that they have left because of my views. We all have had the freedom to express our opinions and views here and that is still the policy of this site. Including myself; we all need to be tolerant of the views and opinions expressed by others. As long as those attitudes are expressed kindly and with respect to others. There will always by times in life when our values and opinions do not match those we encounter. We must determine how important it is for us to express and keep our own values when they run contrary to those expressed by those we come to face in life. There will always be certain environmental contingencies that life presents us with that are contrary to the principles and values we hold dear to ourselves. When such issues arise it is not always the differences themselves that are a determining factor in how we see them, but rather the way we handle them that is the key to the unfolding spiritual lesson and journey we encounter along the way. |
