Title: Bringing God into all our Activities
Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Mar 22, 2025 04:14 am
I am attempting to bring God into all my activities. Even while I eat I am attempting to let spirit enjoy the food I’m eating with me. I know that Buddhists do not think of God but rather of awareness and enlightenment. And I feel comfortable with their company as well. I just of the opinion that different Masters and angels are there to support us in our spiritual efforts.

Thanks mccoy I have also been attempting to put God into the smallest of activities. This morning upon waking and walking through the city; the wind was cool and the Sun was warm early in the season spring has come and I thanked spirit for such a memorable morning!

We talk to ourselves constantly and without much attention to the endless chatter in our minds. Why not pray and talk to spirit in the same way?

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Paramahansa Yogananda was driving to the Hollywood Temple planning the sermon ahead for Sunday, when Divine Mother told him to scrap it and she had wonderful things to say at the service. Imagine being that kind of service to God and Gurus!

Sometimes I'm driving and I have the distinct feeling that the landscape around me, the sky, the trees, is just a background of the cosmic game. a giant screen when there are fixed elements (the sky) that are not really fixed but seem to be so, and mobile elements, like myself within the car. All elements are intertwined in a fathomlessly complex configuration, layers within layers of unthinkable complexity.

In this era of electronic games, it is very easy to discern that this is a cosmic game and to think about the divine programmer beyond the game.

This is how I sometimes bring God into my activities.
