The most common symptoms of vitamin b12 deficiency are weakness, tiredness, palpitations, tingling and numbness. The other symptoms are irregular bowel and bladder movements, decreased appetite, anaemia, anxiety and confusion.

B12 deficiency is the easiest thing to avoid with proper supplementation. It afflicted many old-time vegans when there was an adversity toward B12 supplements.

A diet with animal foods (including dairy products and eggs) is usually enough to avoid any deficiencies, although with age absorption decreases.

Even if I eat plenty of yogurt, as a precautionary principle I take intermittent supplementation.

Thanks Mccoy I noticed some numbness in my feet and started taking Vitamin B supplements and have noticed the numbness subsiding.
