Title: Sri Yukteswar Post by: mccoy on Aug 30, 2024 09:29 am Yesterday I was driving my son around town, to a playground. He is 21, 6 feet tall, 225 lbs heavy but has the mental development of a much smaller boy.
While driving, the thought of Sri Yukteswar took shape in my mind. His stern image, the wisdom. I tried to tune into and see if there was some message from him. nothing. Just the feeling of a supremely wise paternal figure. I've been trying all day to understand the reason of such a visit from the Jnanavatar himself, to no avail. I probably wasn't able to tune in sufficiently deeply and missed if there was a specific aspect he wanted to communicate. It was good though, and I hope his blessing will bestow me just one millionth of his wisdom! It was good though, and I hope his blessing will bestow me just one millionth of his wisdom! Thanks for sharing. I would hope so also mccoy. I have avoided some devastating car accidents because of the Master’s grace and practicing the presence while driving. At times even miraculous changes of events and directions to do so. Perhaps this kind of protection is yours as well. Although the ‘feeling of a wise paternal figure’ also brings light on the experience. Sometimes events like this may have prophetic significance: something to come.. 🙏 There is significance in everything around us when we are receptive and even if we aren’t we can pray for receptivity and understanding. I believe that if you had such a wonderful experience you will eventually understand it’s significance. When we have such Master's guiding our lives, their presence is more real to us and they are attempting to bring us up to their level of communication. “The more you develop flowerlike divine qualities, the more God will reveal to you His secret Omnipresence in your Soul.” -Paramahansa Yogananda- Title: Re: Sri Yukteswar Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Aug 31, 2024 09:07 pm I know….we must only deserve fleeting glimpses?

You need a guru. To follow one who is enlightened is the only way out of the great muddle that has been created in the world. I never found true happiness and freedom until I met my Guru [Sri Yukteswar], he who was spiritually interested in me and who had the wisdom to guide me. Paramahansa Yogananda |
