Which makes you ‘appealing’. I think in this sense the ‘appealing cliche’ as you describe it ( ha ha) means…. Quantum; a required or allowed amount, especially an amount of money legally payable in damages: "the court must determine the quantum of compensation due" ……..it gives the description that little pinch 🤏 that takes you beyond what you expected. 🤣 lol 😝 it gives you that little push that takes you over the top. However, I believe the meaning refers to the theory of quantum physics. It yields the idea of something which is state of the art, not well defined, very hard to understand, very hard to extrapolate to other specific fields like philosophical and metaphysical.
