To me, it's clear that Elon Musk posted it as a parody, it couldn't have been otherwise and the the posting did not need a superfluous comment.

Thanks for your take on the situation. I would just say we have seen videos of the January 6 violence yet people still rationalize that violence. I have also made serious mistakes in life because I thought the intelligence of some one else would be able to understand. We must be very careful about our actions and also those actions we should have taken but did not. We all read what we see in ourselves in events and not as they really are or as others see them. Perhaps Elon Musk will apologize. I know that sometimes all of us are brought down to our knees because of our own overestimation of others and ourselves, and a lack of propriety manifesting as social blunders.

Steve, everyone is making blunders, Vance has done a colossal one, offending childless mothers, Harris did one yesterday not stating clearly if she thinks the elections in Venezuela are a manifestation of the will of the people or not. I like to study such blunders and try not to make a similar one myself.

The above being said, it is not a mystery that Musk is a staunch critic of Harris and enjoyed the parody. On the other side, Trump himself is the object of many parodies, you made a parody of him as Fuhrer Trump. When you choose to be a political personage, parody, I believe, must be accepted willingly.

It is not just ‘blunders’ I’m speaking of here but out out right manipulation of public opinion and coercion of public opinion to advance a narrative of history that reflects your own personal political views. This is the position Trump has taken in for instance his election return narratives and Elon Musk has taken in his DOGE organizing to promote a right wing view in governance and a loyalty to the political views that MAGA people adhere to in their narrative towards history.
