Title: McCoy and Christopher Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Jun 08, 2024 05:46 am Mccoy went on a pilgrimage vacation with his son Christopher. I find this heart warming because I myself never had a father who took me on a vacation. Perhaps he will share some of the photographs when he comes back.
Title: Re: McCoy and Christopher Post by: mccoy on Jun 08, 2024 11:24 pm I'm back, Christopher had fun in the beach resort which regularly hosts disabled people. The resort was relaxing, small houses in the green, a beach nearby bordering with a natural reserve. We returned home one day in advance since Christopher got restless.
I suffered a little the strong sun of June, notwithstanding the sunscreens, my skin got a little intolerant to the UV rays, maybe it's better considering the cancer hazard. I didn't snap many shots, a couple of them I sent to Steve via skype. Title: Re: McCoy and Christopher Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Jun 09, 2024 05:20 pm Thanks for the photos mccoy. I never had a father (this lifetime) that took me on such a longer vacation then a day outing. So that is why to me it is a pilgrimage you gave your son and a spiritual journey of two souls attempting to be in tune with one another without major distractions from for instance the internet.

This is the snap shot mccoy sent to me of the resort with a photo of what looks like mccoy’s son on his ‘pilgrimage’ with his father. Thanks 😊 mccoy for sharing your life experiences and dharma for much of your life’s journey this incarnation. It is quite remarkable to see what others go through in their spiritual journey’s, the challenges they face and the dedication they give to others as their path opens up for them in understanding. Sometimes I wonder at how much wisdom other people have and I’m reminded of what Paramahansa Yogananda said about Tara Mata; Yogananda said of Tara Mata; “It is not necessary for her to meditate in this life. By editing my writings, and because she came here a Highly realized soul, she does not require this. I have already set her place for her in heaven.” ~ Paramahansa Yogananda Paramahansa Yogananda has often pointed to various figures in history that played a certain ‘role’ they were ordained by God and destiny to play. During these times, because of their duties, they may not have been able to meditate as some of us who have a different dharma this life. For such times we may also have in our lives we can still do as Brother Bhaktananda recommended; ‘practice the presence’ in a meditative manner in all our activities. I, Christopher and my wife Angela are a trio bound by some very strong karmic connection. Christopher enjoyed the vacation, until other disabled people came along, hundreds of them. Maybe he was reminded of the days he spent in an institution. |
