Title: Respiration Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on May 21, 2024 02:26 pm Respiration slows down tremendously at nite and there is a stillness prior to dawn, therefore it is an excellent time to meditate. The thoughts are more stilled because the consciousness has been withdrawn to inner perceptions from sleep. It is surprising, but even if it is difficult to meditate during the day, if one falls asleep early most likely they will be the earliest risers, before the turbulence of the day begins. The unsettling noises that other housemates and guest make are usually somewhat silenced because they want their sleep. Even the roads are usually quieter and a silence 🤐 has descended upon the nite. 🤫 Conscious awareness of the breath and a slowing down of respiration takes place that brings the awareness into the spine and away from outer perceptions.
Title: Re: Respiration Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on May 22, 2024 06:44 am Sometimes at night we also can not find the fulfillment we seek and other auditory sounds distract and disturb us. We can use earplugs or music and then listen to the sound of our breath. In our respiration is life and consciousness. |
