We have had so many challenges with Trolls on this site that it would not surprise me if some of them were coming from countries with dictators and a ruling class that tortures and murders opposition, with freedom loving ideals. If you see derogatory and vulgar statements and language being used; you are encountering trolls attempting to take down this site.

Yes i'm sure you think he does. That is the difference between us. i thank God and not the other way around. But that is the way trolls think: of themselves before others. 🧌

This quote by Paramahansa Yogananda that I read today helps me understand how to respond to the activities of this thread;

“Two important aspects of right behavior are non-cooperation with the wrongdoings of loved ones and silent resistance by opposite spiritual actions. We should not stoop to incivilty, vulgarity and physical threats in trying to prevent the erroneous doings of those whom we love. We must remember that by adding our own impatience, anger or excitement to the ugliness expressed by them, we increase the power of discord in our dear ones. I attempt to follow as close as possible to the above quote by Paramahansa Yogananda, who has helped me tremendously, through some very challenging times in my life. Today there were multiple attempts to bring this site down, as there have been numerous times before. I am unable to know why a spiritual seeker would spend so much of their time attempting to destroy this site. However I do know that many of my heroes in life also had antagonists that followed through their lives attempting to destroy them.

Why spend time on this humble site and this small candle light often blowing in the wind? Don’t people have something better to do then to attempt to cut off the heads of others to make themselves look larger? If indeed this is rather politically motivated and their are authoritarian governments working to destroy us; you are only increasing our resolve here at the portal to seek and practice truth as we know it .

It is not my intent to let any of you here be oblivious to the views of others who come on this site, but to let you know the tactics involved involve belittling others, attempt to duplicate other members, vulgarity and pretending to know about members here and their past relationships, when these trolls could not begin to understand such things… nor is it their business to attempt to pry into the past of other members and spin their own tale of what had happened.

Thanks for staying around as we attempt to practice spirituality when others are attempting to destroy this site and the reputation of those who are on it.

Steve, I tried to log into the admin screen but I could not remember my password. Anyway, in the registering section, I read the following:

If registration has been configured to require approval from a forum administrator, the next screen will tell you so and you should receive both an acknowledgement by email and another email later to inform you whether or not your application has been approved.

So, the administrators should have a tool by which would be users need an action of approval before being allowed into the forum. Perhaps the admin registering screen has this option. I'll try and see if I can retrieve my password or change it.

Steve, if the action was successful, I disabled registration for new members, this should give a little breath from trolls. Other settings would require permission from the administrators but I'm not sure.
I would definitely not return to the immediate registration mode, which allows people to register with deliberately silly names.

Ok chief. Why dilly dally anymore? Thanks for steppin in ….hope to talk with you soon again I really enjoy our talks Lucca! People of a dark intent eventually become full of venom and can only crawl close and clinging desperately to the earth feeding off the energy of others, rather then filling their hearts and consciousness with light, not focusing our energies on the darkness we occasionally see in some of those around us, including ourselves.
