Please quote where anyone is pushing transgender changes in elementary school. You know the ‘woke’ movement wants to go to such extremes…. And I know the MAGA crowd wants to go to other extremes. Especially pushing people with a Christian ethnic to increase and multiply when it is clearly time to limit population explosion. We, our species, is an invasive species destroying Mother Earth. Most of the Christian radical MAGA movement and especially the Catholic Church have propagated way more because of Catholicism and the ideology of ruining our planet with more people. The view of stewardship to our planet has been destroyed by the Christian Religion in the United Clones and replaced by indoctrination to increase and multiply like rats. That is truly the most dangerous indoctrination of all.

How about the public school coming after my cousin and trying to convince her she's a boy? Why are they involved in telling a still developing child she is the opposite sex?

Their personal narrative which may have no reality, but be a product of their personal bias. Children often mirror and echo the propaganda of their parents.

You can reread my comments again for a different perspective. This topic I have created is; population explosion. I have commented on different aspects of the situation, including a mental obstinacy to continue to have the basic view of ‘increase,be fruitful and multiply.’

We have a population explosion happening on this planet yet we have a Vice Presidential candidate-J.D.  Vance-who has said no one should be be able to run for high offices without having kids. Does this guy have any brains in his head?

Let’s face the consequences and the reality: If you don’t have as much of an investment in the future of this country, maybe you shouldn’t get nearly the same voice.”

The incredible ignorance of this man and the far right views he holds with an iron grip to the past and a view long past that Christians should increase and multiply which is destroying our civilization. Population of our planet is now over a staggering 8 billion, which has caused destruction to the environment, congestion in all the major cities, skyrocketing real-estate prices, problems at our borders, food shortages, loss of public land, endangering species, economic disparities, pollution of the ocean, rivers, lakes and climate change. There is nothing short of identifying this man and Fuhrer Trump some of the most ignorant and dangerous men on the planet today.

Fox News host Trey Gowdy practically begged Vance to apologize for his 2021 remarks about the Democratic Party being run by “childless cat ladies” who supposedly have no “direct stake” in the country because they don’t have kids.

“It’s important for us to be pro-family as a country,” Vance said on “Sunday Night in America with Trey Gowdy.” “Of course, for a whole host of reasons, it’s not going to work out for some people. We should pray for those people and of course have sympathy for them.”

Thank God there are people attempting to save Mother Earth. The Trump team are not part of it. And Vance has no understanding of the challenges we as Planet Earth face. He needs his head examined for reading his own headlines and listening to his own personal spin-doctors. Vance; save your prayers for yourself and the United Sates. You need them and with people with your attitude being considered for a Vice President, the United States needs prayers daily!!!

People constantly complain about migrants getting in this (the United Clones) country. Why don’t they stop having children and let others come here for their freedom?

But usually, immigrants have many, many more children than the average American family, so the overpopulation would be faster. Besides, there is probably a higher percentage of criminals in immigrants. Sometimes, as it happened with the Marielitos, countries release the convicts and the mentally ill at the American border, they empty their jails and asylums, America gains overwhelming strife and crime. We can substitute America with Italy. The concept remains the same, both are being invaded by immigrants and overpopulated by them at a faster rate than the local citizens.

This is what I can tell you mccoy. I am a living example of not having children so others who seek asylum may enter this country. I’ll say it again; stop having children. This earth cannot handle any more people. Public land is dwindling away. Houses are packed all over. Property value is up. People cannot afford property. Mother Earth is overwhelmed and nature is suffering. I want to visit India but the main reason I have against going there is again over population. What can we do? Ofcourse people can be filtered from coming in. But the easiest solution is to not have a fool like Trump who wants to cut out planned parenthood and birth control. Just take a look at the example he provides…..

These right wing Republicans are mostly family oriented. And promote large families. This notion is now ridiculous and ludicrous. We will not have a world to live in with this exceedingly dangerous attitude prevalent among people like Trump and JD Vance.

The consciousness of family must evolve to an understanding of a spiritual family and a support and connection to such a family. The personalized family is destroying our planet and will destroy our civilization if that deception persists. It just shows how a biblical adage taken out of context can be so wrong. ‘Increase and multiply’ totally left the idea of ‘being stewards to our planet’. In everything there needs to be some balance. And even balance can go overboard if not tempered with grace and spiritual awakening.

Attempt to swim where most all lakes are privately owned, with no trespassing signs up everywhere.

Now this is the United Clones. Should we even begin to talk about Mexico where a city like Mexico City has more than 25 million people? Or how about Asian countries with over 1.3 billion in India and the same in China.

I was in Detroit last weekend and the houses are packed in like sardines each one having fences up attempting some privacy. I strongly doubt that the population explosion in Africa has caused a climate change. Maybe the climate change is making it hard for natives to survive in some areas, the Sahel around the Sahara desert.

Nevertheless, the truth is that in Europe there is negative growth. In contrast, the Africans who give birth to so many children are trying to immigrate into Europe, looking for better conditions, sometimes believing everything will be easy. They will be given free money and easy jobs.

Then your concern would be at least in part justified, people are increasing, not so much, but how many of them are immigrants? And if they are not, why to add immigrants to an already growing population? And why not to populate rural areas instead of towns? In America, there is so much room for everyone.

Mr Trump and Mr. Vance are apparently doing the right thing promising to stop immigration. Their appeal to growth increase will go unheeded, unless they are able to provide the right economical support.

I'm afraid that, whoever will be elected, the population will increase evermore, and if the newly elected will allow immigrants, it will be a huge wave of poor people, with a substantial amount of criminals and psychopaths. Good luck.

Would you like to put the rest of us in the deserts here and the freezing cold of northern United States or the arid south of this country where one cannot even go outside during the day and must stay where there are air conditioners....not being able to enjoy nature, in such heat and freezing conditions. Steve, no offence meant, but it would appear that you have not the right perspective on population density.

I sure believe that there are overpopulated areas in urban Michigan, but there are underpopulated areas in Montna, in the MOjave desert and in many other places.

Besides, it is not our impressions, but the number that speak.  Inthe following Wikipedia link there is a list of countries and dependencies by population density.

Absolute 1st is Macau, with a whopping 21000 people per square km

Italy, which is pretty much populated, but not evenly (urban areas include most of population) is 75th with 195 people/km2

The USA are 186, among the less populated nations, with a measley 35 people/km2, which is 18% of the population density of Italy.

Saudi Arabia, which is a huge desert, contains half the population density of America. America has twice the population density of a huge desert, so ist population appears to be very sparse on average.

So, America cannot really be defined overpopulated, on the contrary, it appears to be underpopulated hence Mr. Trump with Mr. Vance are providing sound suggestions to try and support more numerous families.

I agree with your reasoning if it refers to overpopulated areas in some parts of America. The crowds in there should be redirected toward desertic areas, with huge development projects. But that's another issue.

The problem is that all the attractive areas are taken in this country. And all the temperate places where its comfortable to live. I went over this before. Go to all lakes and the landscape is mostly if not all private property where the public cannot even exercise and swim. Or if it is available it costs at least $25 a night to stay there. You will find time and time again places where there is no ‘private property stay out. No hunting, fishing or trespassing. You will be prosecuted!’. And most all public government property says; ‘No camping!’. Ofcourse you can drive 100 miles and find some places but you have to pay $75 for gas. Let us look at the progression of population world wide, with this in mind, what it’s doing to this planet; climate change, plastic and trash littering all over. Congestion of traffic. Public land being depleted. Dead animals all along the roads that have been killed by cars and trucks. No where safe to ride bikes…etc.

These are precisely the kind of people that put up signs saying ‘keep off our property or you will be shot on site. That means you!’ And have large fences around their house, and Jolly Roger 🏴‍☠️ flags up as well as ‘ Don’t tread on me’ signs and flags. And barb wire between the trees so it is difficult to get to public land next to the river. The selfishness of such people is to the extent that they represent no spiritual values worth emulating.

I too would hate a blockage to the lake coast, which is public.
But at this point, the laws should be changed, people have a right, or just like to fence their private property, sometimes for safety reasons.

The system should also be changed. Presently, jobs are found in urbanized areas.

Wild animals killed by car traffic? No one is eager to kill an animal, since it will easily destroy the vehicle.

Steeping trend upward in world population? I'm afraid that's way beyond our reach. We can only complain, and possibly worry. I ceased to do both.

Well I can not speak for your country mccoy but I can say this about mine. The land at the lake front in most cases is not public land. And even if it was, how can you get to it, if it is all private property on the way to the lake coast? And there is no parking even when you get to most local lakes anyhow because the land is privately owned. Most small lakes are all private property in the United Clones.

There is a shortage of 4 million homes in the United States. Where will these homes be built? In urban areas where urban sprawl is already a problem? But where people find jobs? Or are we to take public land and further develop it when huge chunks of land are already being taken from the public for privation daily.

Complaining and worrying are not a solution but there are problem solvers. A very simple solution is not to add to the problem like the Trump/Vance team propose by having large families.

Look the observation is not that people intentionally want to kill animals on the road but that wild life is being pushed out by people who multiply like rabbits. Every time I drive I see dead animals everywhere along the roads.

If people like  to fence in their lives should they be allowed to take more and more public land to do so? It would not be such a concern if it were not for the fact that not only do they want and do fence in miles of land. They also add several more kids to selfishly take the land for themselves and privatize it, denying the public access to enjoy it.

But ofcourse I like you too much to argue the issue!

LOL, but of course the feeling is reciprocal, so I'll add that I'm overly annoyed when there are stretches of coast where I cannot reach the sea because it's fenced. usually it's not family residences, rather touristique resorts and it is rare. But I would go bananas would that be the case like around lakes in your area.

One of the most challenging aspects of continuous expansive population is noise. Noise eveywhere from neighbors pounding and drilling, sawing and chatting early in the morning, to cars and endless traffic making silence a thing of the past. Motorcycles racing by. Lawn mowers mowing all summer long. Snow plows in the winter. Children screaming 🙀. Dogs barking. Jets and planes ✈️ flying by. Guns going off. Making meditation challenging to find peace.

That happens in urban areas, but less so in rural areas. And, speaking of meditation, I've used earplugs or cuffs when in noisy environments.

Steve, the above seems to constitute a mere complaint for the sake of itself, since it has no general solution. None in the African countries or underdeveloped countries will ever heed your advice not to proliferate. these are the countries where population increase is greater.
And even in America, those who want to have children will have them, and those who don't won't, regardless of what other people, you, or Mr. Trump, or myself, may encourage them to do.

The only individual, is to retire in rural, underpopulated areas, which are still abundant presently.

I am up now it is 9:32 and in the distance I hear the rumble of cars trucks and a helicopter in the distance.  And noise in the kitchen here in the house. I do not see that as a complaint but rather an observation. When we used to meditate at the Hollywood temple it was so quiet that if anyone even sneezed or coughed it would break up the stillness that brought us all to a bliss state of higher consciousness.

I realize that many, if not most people will not listen to me mccoy. They have not listened for centuries. That is not the point. We are evolving upward through the ages, soon most people will understand the significance of silence and meditation. We are pioneers in this practice and experience. As pioneers we discuss the importance of the factors contributing to the development of peaceful interaction with spirit.

No one listened to Jesus when he was crucified on a cross, except for a few women standing around who cared about his message. Does this mean he didn’t or shouldn’t have spoke of the truth he represented? People certainly could have and did see him as a complainer. He ‘complained’ about the religion of the time. He ‘complained’ about those who followed him. He ‘complained’ about the injustices taking place in the social structure of the time. He ‘complained’ about evil. He ‘complained’ about a place called hell. Or should we look at it quite differently? He wasn’t a complainer at all but rather he made comparisons with what could be with what was at the time. We speak up because we are a witness of the truth however much we ourselves must still work on ourselves in embracing stillness in our lives.

And yes earplugs can help, at other times they actually are a deterrent to hearing the rustle of the leaves, the sound of the wind through the trees and the sound of a nearby stream rushing through a forest. Sounds of bird’s singing in the trees. Sounds that actually are helpful in the practice of meditation.

The contrast between people, like you and I, we can at times bring out new insights in living. That is what i do not ‘complain’ about, but give thanks for, that every one is not just like me ( that would be indeed boring and annoying) but individuals with their own values and perspectives that help make life more fulfilling for all of us.
