Spiritual Portal

I am always fine inside … when the alterating conditions in the world are only manifesting what I need to work on internally. We are born at a time and place that befits are karmic backgrounds, and that reflects are souls evolution and it’s battles in attaining spiritual awareness. We are faced with others who see outward events as reflecting different factors of their soul growth. It is for us to understand these views which also affect our own internal dialogue and spiritual development.

Eric and I ( tides to dust) have discussed this in quite a lot of depth recently. He has made the observation that we have individual paths or an individual dharma that we are satisfying in the play of world events, which I may have described slightly differently than he has, nevertheless the experience and concept are similar. It appears to me we are brought together with people who may have very similar soul aspirations but may see differently also on their perceptions of themselves in relation to world events and actors in the world drama.  We are working out these spheres of thought on the world stage. This is a concept that Lucca  (mccoy)  has explained to me and he has a bit of a different spin on the same idea and experiences himself.

The fact that all three of us have recognized this unfolding drama and our attempting to work out our own dharma and sphere of thoughts as they at times collide with our closest friends or harmonize with them is the whole point of this thread. And I am hoping that we can help one another understand what we have in common in are individual dharma and also what we have to learn from seeing that even in wanting to follow our own path and dharma we also need to respect the views that others have and take seriously themselves. Sometimes we find that different world views do or do not follow our beliefs and thoughts. At this time I feel it is important to recognize that we are in an important dharma event that coincides with some spiritual lessons we were meant to face in the context of worldly events. A type of destiny that we have chosen to face in our individual, political, spiritual and social lives.

An important aspect of this conversation is that we may at times find ourselves in individual circumstances that affect our close contacts as they also affect us. Some of our basic views find expression in the way we live and interact with others in the world. So we find our general outlooks are more in harmony with others in their lives on earth at this time or are not. When we identify with such people, their views reflect are struggles and also our aspirations. Then we are able to see in relief those views are fixed or evolving in our friends and associates as well.
