Title: Misunderstanding Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Feb 23, 2024 12:33 am I will spread the sunshine of my goodwill wherever the darkness of misunderstanding lies. I will always hold aloft an unfading torch-light of continuous kindness to guide the hearts of those who misunderstand me. I will try to please everyone by kind, considerate actions, and ever striving to remove any misunderstanding knowingly or unknowingly.
- Parmahansa Yogananda Title: Re: Misunderstanding Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Feb 23, 2024 12:42 am Paramahansa Yogananda had claimed that he was William Shakespeare in a previous existence. PY said some things which IMO are just a bit over the top. My view now is that considering the immense wisdom and writings the Master left behind it appears that it would be more thinkable to say that it is more ‘over the top’ to think that William Shakespeare was indeed Paramahansa Yogananda. Title: Re: Misunderstanding Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Feb 23, 2024 01:23 am I’m in a state of wonder that this great creation is unfolding before us, and as it is happening, little blessings happen every day … like other lovers of the divine coming into our life. Aren’t we fortunate?
Title: Re: Misunderstanding Post by: guest637 on Feb 23, 2024 07:45 pm You seem to be blessed by a higher force, Jitendra. Those three monkeys symbolize "See, Hear, Speak no Evil." Indeed there is a holy mantra invoked to the same effect during some higher yogic initiations, such as kriya.

Yes blessed but not always in accordance with; “See, Hear, Speak no Evil.” I have my own trappings and at times because of a lack of discretion and the past that often sings it’s own remembrance of experiences behind closed eyes, sealed lips 🤐, and closed ears. Hey is that your photo as an avatar? I feel as though we met some where before. ~J. Title: Re: Misunderstanding Post by: guest637 on Feb 23, 2024 09:18 pm Ah yes. I've taken various initiations in Kriya yoga. The avatar is offered by your forum software when you create a user profile. The name of the depicted celebrity is Claudia Schiffer (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claudia_Schiffer). I myself have taken the photo of those three monkeys. And Maybellene is a nice song. ;)
