Spiritual Portal

I recall being at a retreat for three days to see Amma I wanted to to stay one extra day with her but had no money to pay the expenses at the Renaissance Center in Detroit for that extra day. I know I would see people on couches or any where there to just nap or be with her all nite while she gave darshan all night, till the next day.  I looked around and found an open door to a conference room and walked into the room and found a large table with a large table cloth on it covering the sides. I crawled under the table and fell asleep.

Several hours later I would wake up and meditate. This happened throughout the nite. Suddenly some one came in the room. They turned on the lights and it looked like the manager of the hotel all dressed up in a suit and a night worker. They came over to the table where I was under and swept the cloth back. I thought; this has got to be the end of me. Suddenly the manager explained to the worker; “Oh these people are from a conference here that meditate and that’s what he is doing.” Then they left the room chatting and I never heard anything the rest of the night.
