Title: Tahini (Sesame Paste)
Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Jan 23, 2024 11:21 pm
 >:( I’ve been using tahini butter for most of my life I mix it with milk, honey and avocado as a blended drink, that tastes delicious for breakfast but you can also use it on a sandwich. It’s one of the two basic ingredients for hummus or you can use it on cookies or something sweet. Guess I didn’t know how healthy tahini butter is until I looked at the back of the label. In 2 tablespoons of tahini, is 4% of your need for protein for the day,  15% of your need for iron for the day, 10% of your need for calcium for the day 4% of your need for potassium for a day and also 6% for your need for fiber for the day!

Tahini is a bland butter and things that are too sweet are offset by dipping them into it.

Good strategy, although I find tahin has its distinctive flavour, a bitterish one, that's why it is effective to counteract very sweet food like dates and honey.
