Title: Mistakes that are a blessing in disguise Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Jan 14, 2024 08:05 pm An epiphany has come over me recently about the spiritual journey we have in our lives. Maybe 🤔 many ‘successful’ people in a worldly sense do not witness it as much. That is that many mistakes and misfortunes we have can often bring us to the most spiritual blessings. An example; the first woman ‘I loved’ didn’t really ever seem to love me. Yet because of this I had some of my greatest moments in life with spiritual people and finding my spiritual journey getting a jump start.
Even today, quite often I find mistakes I’ve made with other people and seemingly with circumstances as well, has brought me some of the most important spiritual lessons, truths and experiences as well as fortunate life direction changes, as if by grace. As though duality is truly a paradox and there is a power above such opposites that can send grace to all our encounters and experiences. I remember once I heard Paramahansa Yogananda say that even if ( President ) Faith (Daya Mata) makes a mistake I will right it. I wondered about that statement for sometime, but now (although I do not expect my mistakes will or should be ‘righted’) I do understand his statement, much better than I ever have in the past.
