Title: Energy level and food

I recently heard a tennis champion talk about energy level and what we eat that fuels it. I have noticed that my energy level was at a higher level in the summer than now in the winter. This man was saying that when he stopped eating so many diary products, gluttons and sugars he increased his energy and won  a championship. So I wonder how others feel about this? I do know that I was eating less of these products in the summer when fresh foods were abundant.

Hey, I am glad you liked it! The person that helped him was Dr. Mark Hyman himself! = )

I am attempting to follow his guidance, not so strict, but as a general practice- and I notice a big difference.

I am also being guided to turmeric, curcumin and working towards lowering inflammation which seems especially relevant knowing my holiday festivities.

In my personal case, I almost exclusively eat healthy food, no junk food, but I definitely notice more energy when I can eat sparingly, with a stomach not very full.

I appreciate Bro. baktananda's suggestion to eat more meals in small amounts, in such a way as to be always ready and active. That's not always possible of course and depends on individuals, but in my case it tends to work. Digestion sucks up energy.

Also, eating fruit requires no gastric digestion and provides energy, I used to eat oranges for example while doing resistance exercise. Drinks with honey also provide energy without gastric digestion. The detrimental factor especially when no longer younger may be higher fasting blood glucose, I had to discontinue such practices.

The correct diet is very important in building vitality. I cannot repeat too often that eating plenty of groundnuts, ground carrots and fruit juices will help. Fasting one day a week on orange juice or other unsweetened fruit juice, and taking a suitable laxative that day, will help to keep the body cells, firm and free from disease. A three day fast once a month on orange juice with a laxative each day fasting will expel almost all poisons, and will do much to make the body, strong and healthy and youthful to the last days of life. Orange juice is very good because it counteracts acids in the body which are caused by eating meats and heavy foods.

At least a ‘rattlesnake will give you a warning’ before it strikes. Your body may not even do that, before it disfunctions.
