Title: For UWE and i and anyone else fooled by life. Ooo la la Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Dec 21, 2023 07:08 am https://youtu.be/HiTVLVEFEMc?si=ugDxV2kAamxQuw9S
Always liked this song and it’s not that I’m directing it just a jab at women. Really like the second verse and how the song takes an ironical twist, with its humor. Probably the best song Ronnie Wood had a hand in..we get fooled a lot in life…. It leaves you ‘twinkling with the stars.’ It won’t be the first time and probably not the last. But I wish that I knew what I know now, when I was younger and stronger. This one goes out to UWE and I’m sure he knows why just like i. Here ‘back on earth again a lot more than dressing rooms turn grey. Ooh La La Song by the faces Poor old Granddad, I laughed at all his words I thought he was a bitter man He spoke of women's ways They'll trap you when they use you Before you even know For love is blind and you're far to kind Don't ever let it show I wish that I knew what I know now When I was younger I wish that I knew what I know now When I was stronger The can-can such a pretty show Will steal your heart away But backstage back on earth again The dressing rooms are grey They come on strong and it ain't too long For they make you feel a man But love is blind and you soon will find You're just a boy again When you want her lips, you get her cheek Makes you wonder where you are If you want some more then she's fast asleep Leaves you twinkling with the stars Poor young grandson there's nothing I can say You'll have to learn, just like me And that's the hardest way Ooh la la Ooh la la, la la, yeah I wish that I knew what I know now When I was younger I wish that I knew what I know now When I was stronger Source: Musixmatch Songwriters: Ron Lane / Ronald Wood Ooh La La lyrics © Wb Music Corp. Ooo la la Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Dec 21, 2023 05:48 pm The smoke and ash left by a fast burning fire 🔥 has slowed me down over the years and there was a time I was in the presence of people that meditated so much it absorbed most my time. I was always drawn to the unusual types and those with psychic and spiritual abilities that supported my interests and experiences. So I’ve got mostly good things to say about them, even though at the time extinguishing a fire with cold water left me back at the quest for something with more lasting appeal. It’s an interesting phenomena how some musicians can stir up excitement and personality into the mix and not necessarily have all the lasting melodic appeal that other musicians evoked. i see Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood in such a lite. Certainly personality gives appeal to music. Though from a young age also, more and more, I’ve even grown aware of how music can be used to express wisdom and lessons people have learned along the way. It is the unique ability of some artists to be able to reflect on life’s experiences and convey them back at the public in an expressive manner that makes you repeat their words and feelings in your head and heart 💜 that lives on and influences your life …. many decisions you make. In those cases viewing it all from someone else’s perspective really lives on making you a different person or at the very least enhancing your life with how rich experiences can be. This material life is really a lot about experience and exploring experiences first hand. That’s why it is so dramatic to most of us. And sharing our experiences really helps us understand what it’s all about. I have found that Kriya Yoga gives us ‘ never a dull moment ‘ as it unravels a lot of personal factors with more speed that would otherwise lie dormant. We become more accustomed to a vast inner world that lies adjacent to all our outer experiences. Therefore it inspires practice. I appreciate your reflection - UWE - of your life’s telling a story. Every picture (of life ) tells an important story if we can just ‘see’ what that picture is really all about. |
