Title: Modesty Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Nov 11, 2023 02:34 pm It amazes me how some people who become famous are able to keep their fame in perspective and identity with us; the common folk. I would say that such people have worked a long time - many life times - at fame and have learned that it means little in the larger picture of things. What really matters is our connection with spirit, yet even in that sense we may see ourselves as too important. A rather challenging reminder that no one is really so important that they can’t learn humility. If you want to recognize humility, attempt to find and have God talk with you. I have found there is a humbleness about God entering our lives that let’s us often do things that we later regret. In that sense I would prefer more presence from spirit and less presence of ME. |
