Spiritual Portal

At times we definitely can see differences between us and those around us. When we pick up trash others have left behind. When we are kind to animals and don’t let others kill them for us or worst yet; murder them ourselves. When we recycle all our plastic and attempt to use cloth bags instead of constantly adding more plastic to our oceans. When we attempt to recycle and when possible use more protective measures to the exhaust of our cars or buy cars we can afford that are more gas efficient. Or use other types of transportation like bicycles and horses or just walking. When we attempt to add less children to an already burgeoning population. When we help others that are less fortunate than ourselves.

We recognize that we would rather be in a world with more caring people and around those who also feel the same about generosity and kindness. When we enjoy the company of quieter people who do not get angry and have attempted to control their emotions and direct them towards more noble causes. When we think of others before our own comfort and pleasure. When are values do not reflect what we have but rather what we are. When instead of being more critical we are more appreciative. When instead of using people we serve them.
