Title: Spiritual Moods
Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Jul 18, 2023 05:29 am
Sometimes I think it’s good to follow our own moods. We may feel like doing nothing, at those times it may be good to meditate. Because we often have to be like nothing to let something in. If we are too much of something we are not able to empty ourselves. At other times we may feel like we want to do something very active like help others. Even though we may not meditate at those times we can practice the presence a lot, knowing that we are being helpful to someone that is part of God’s creation.

When I discover the purpose of some of my higher moods, I feel like doing something really worthwhile. For instance; feeling empty, I feel like filling myself with God’s presence in various meditation techniques I may have not been doing for awhile. Moods do not have to be bad or challenging, sometimes we are meant to flow with them and see where they take us. Especially if they come from inside us and do not originate from the moods of others around us.

At times I said things that I’m surprised I had said. I think at those times I was I inspired and so going back and rereading them is helpful.
