Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Mar 10, 2010 09:23 am Hi Namaste2All i am hoping praying you find a way~being part of the divine plan~to get out here soon in your busy schedule with all your responsibilities. i really think it will be an eye opener for you and the peace you could bring home with you. Accept for what i have heard about parts of India, i do not think there is any other place like Los Angeles and southern California. Amma will also be here soon. It is an interesting thing but i can often think of her and her presence in sweet accustomed ways. It often brings tears of joy to my eyes and my devotion is increasd as i think of the prayers of her senior monks.
There are sacred places out here like Yogananda's crypt and the temple of Leaves at Mount Washington where you can often recognize the blessings just being there. The Master walked and left his blessings there as well as the Lake Shrine and the Hollywood Temple. There are also places like the Griffith Observatory that have trails up into the Hollywood Hills looking over the panorama of the L.A. skyline. What a place to meditate. Hidden Springs has rushing streams that flow down the mountains and here in Topanga Canyon you can go up to one of the peaks of the canyon and get the feeling your on the edge of the world. Peace and glimpses of bliss abound overlooking the ocean and the valley to the East and towards L.A. i would invite friends out here to witness the beauty and hollowed land where there are living people drunk with the bliss of God and aspiring to the heights of the presence where the Master walked and lived.
