At other times they are weakened by environmental contingencies and planetary movements as well as many other factors. Yet we do eventually recognize that outer circumstances that are frustrating or unfulfilling are quite often reminders that our inner spiritual aspirations still have quite a way to go yet. For instance we may find ourselves trying to fulfill cravings like sex, alcohol or food when in reality we have an inner desire for spiritual awakening and our soul may settle on temporary pleasures to fulfill such longings.

I recognized in a zen moment that my mind alone is unable to handle where I put everything, where things are and be cognizant of everything going on with me at a given moment …. It is just as important to be thinking and experiencing God’s grace at any given moment. That consciousness can carry us thru irritating days with moments of grace from a higher power able to be conscious of things are little mind has a difficulty handling. Love is liberating and painful. Painful because we have ego's and attachment but nonetheless something I chose to experience. Craved, so much so, that I was born. For me, the reason isn't so much unknown. My Faith is showing me more and more, the intimate relationship with God. It's the greatest part of this journey. And... to me... God is Love. Jai Guru~ = ) |
