I hope others are able to watch it and comment. Dear Steve, I wanted to include this in your thread discussing the various Yugas we find ourselves evolving through. I could not find it using the search feature. I typed "Yugas" in the search bar atop the forum and got 34 pages of results. So maybe, instead, you can comment on the Yugas here with regards to this film and your comment to Patrick below But I sincerely think you have been brainwashed by our culture to believe things that are based on a social perspective of the dark ages. Its not one person against another. It is an honest statement from my view. Is anyone here familiar with this experiment? Except instead of an experiment, this event is embarrassingly real life. To me it says something about power and mans perverse notions with vengeance. There's a scene in this documentary where they successfully take the prison back and are chanting, "White Power!" Which really blows my mind... Because the white guards only felt so empowered after having the backing of Nixon and Rockefeller, using superior resources to claim victory. We learn Nixon and Rockefeller are directly responsible for the guns provided, the helicopter coming in and gassing the inmates, and the leniency towards the Guards who later sent the prisoners through absolute hell. If we are progressing through the ages, and this was only 50 years ago- I wonder what age history will portray us in? I don't think we're in the Golden Age, but I do think we're coming out of the Dark Ages. You see... I do believe racism is kept alive by nefarious entities who aim to keep people distracted or divided. I also believe real racist exist. The level of ignorance is quite terrifying, considering it's 2023 and people are not okay with the idea that we are one people. I was not born during the time of Attica but I came shortly after- and some of you were alive during both Attica and the Standford Prison Experiment- So I wonder if anyone here can comment on either, I believe the power dynamic and the psychology behind these events worthy of spiritual contemplation. I also wonder, at what age do we recognize our oneness with Gods creation? Yet for society as a whole it will be much longer before a great section of society is spiritually progressive. Presently I have no comment about remarks I made to Patrick based on another topic. |
