Title: Some people take their lessons from the World others from a Master Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Dec 14, 2022 06:51 am After some of us have followed the discipline of a Master for some time we recognize in ourselves times we have chosen to take our lessons from the world again. We also see that others around us do not choose the path of a Master. They fall back into the hard knocks of the world and may even deride those who keep to the path, in their effort to justify their own lack of interest, faith and sustained effort. Yet we see there are those the Masters bring into our lives to help us overcome our lack of faith and inabilities for sustained efforts. In these people we show gratitude and thanks so we are not losing our own graciousness and gratitude for our help.

Everybody changes. I can learn from the World and see thru the BS part of it and the useful bits can add to my own.

If learning from a Master i have never seen someone not growing unless they fail to exercise their discipline. The world is how most people learn. The discipline of the Master comes often through worldly events. But the world is what people learn from when they have no Master. i have no problem with people seeing life through a different lens. I never had a problem how anyone sees it. But that's not the same thing as someone speaking in a way that what they are saying is absolute truth. That's where I have a problem. And yes I am speaking about masters. One has to ask themselves ; is there such a thing as absolute truth? Some say yes others say no. I am much more likely to accept the advice of what I have determined to be a Master than my own flawed judgement. Yea I kinda get it; like I kinda sorta, but not really like you. I mean who wouldn’t be confused? The mind does that to people you know. It all stirs up and was created their apart from any known reality that is absolute,or, coming from inner sanctum it appears much better to your inner guidance and not from an outer source like your space odyssey friends. |
