We've always had dalmatians. Our first pair, yogi and booboo were exactly one month and one year older than me. Born from the same litter on June 19th- my birthday July 19th. We've tried having dogs other than dalmatians and unfortunate circumstances would not allow us to. Like parvo, which is a disease passed from the mom to young pups. Now we have Juno and Smudge. When I was having unknown health episodes, Juno would sleep by my side. Petting the dogs and being in the sunlight was a tremendous healing experience. Soothes anxiety and mental maladies. Juno also protected me when I felt there was a ghost in my house. She sensed something too and would not leave me, even while I was showering- which is unusual behavior for her. Thanks! |
