Do we have guardian Angels? (As explained by one of the Brothers at SRF)

Yes we do. But when we have a guru he/she is our guardian angel.

Were we angels?

No. We have souls and are higher in that sense. Yet we help one another.
They are a separate creation from us.

PY on angels;

Angels are God-ordained heavenly beings who serve Gods purpose throughout creation. They are either personified powers of qualities of God, or are fully liberated souls in whose beings the perfect spirit of God is encased. The later having overcome both material and heavenly desires and attachments, have merged into spirit and then reemerged in bodies of pure energy-omnipotent, omnitient forces of the Divine Will.

God's angels and exalted saints in the immanent-transcendental sphere of omnipresent Christ consciousness can move freely in any realm of Infinity. They can ascend to the region of the father; there the self is dissolved in the unfathomable Blissful Spirit. Yet the impression of their individuality remains and can reclaimed at will or at God's command. In the Christ Consciousness sphere they have individuality but are in and ecstatic state. They dissolve their astral bodies there. When they descend into the vibration region they can be seen with astral bodies there. When they descend into the vibration region they can be seen with astral bodies except made of a glow of light. That body has substance as a manifested form, but not gross solidly-just as dream images seem so solid, and yet are composed of the subtlety of astral light. By changing the vibration of their super-electric forms angels can make themselves larger or smaller, visible or invisible at will, not only in the astral but also in the physical ether as when angels appeared to laud the birth of Jesus. At other times, also angles and divine beings in their astral forms, seen or unseen, intersperse the blessings of their presence into the happenings on earth, as when in response to devotional supplication or good karma a person or condition merits divine intervention.

i have been interested in angels since Into Blue has posted so much about them. i think we are all trying to understand here. Don't you? We may know very little about these things but yet we are trying to get an understanding. i think that is important. Beliefs: Yours or mine can change tomorrow. Let us learn and explore together....

Thank you Steve for sharing an interest in the Angels with me. Even when there are times that you may not agree with all that I am talking about (and this could be a variety of topics) I do appreciate you taking the time and the interest in listening to what I have to say, with an open mind. I do like that about you.  :)

oh, speaking about Angels and if we were one ? Not sure about that question, but I am an Angel  ;), most of the time, except for a few mischevious moments, lol !

God uses or has intention and purpose...when he creates.  just as 'we' do,,,yes ? 

there were different intentions..when he created angels and souls.

Hi Katzie an interesting thing happened to me yesterday. there was a man on the corner
soliciting funds since he didn't have a job and his wife and him live in a little RV vehicle that is stranded. He had this sign with the above writing on it and painted were beautiful angels.
I told him about your advice about angels. He was quite interesting. I also told him how he could get trained to be a truck driver.

You won't believe what happened to our friend Shirley... she is now working at a habitat for Humanity store. It is called a ReStore and she's taking care of pets! She seems to be always working.

Jitendra, nice of you to share the information about the angels and to suggest the truck driver training idea to him.
He has a good start already, if he had a sign with that quote on it and believes .....  

Hi Katze if u r somewhere out there and can hear me. i remember your spending much time with me about angels.
i sncerely believe they are around us and i recieve their blessings from time to time if not more.... They are the embassaries of God helping us along... inspiring us and also protecting and helping us in times of need. 'vvi suppose' God has a lot of helpers. Even us from time to time!

the description is too much... i'm afraid i'm not ready for all that and am reminded of my fear of death... as i come to appreciate this little life of mine.

Thanks for bringing this thread back to life. Must say I have had some real experiences from spirit because our friend Nikki came into our lives. From the other side, on this side and with angels.
