Title: Impartial Observer and Witness Consciousness
Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Apr 02, 2022 09:20 pm
What I’ve noticed over much of my life is that many people do not care to hear our impartial observations. In fact they may at times react to them with anger and frustration. Sometimes it is best for us to recognize that our opinions are not appreciated because others have their own views and do not accept our take on events. In which case it may be better to let them go and continue our perceived goals and aspirations as they change according to the negativity and anger we are confronted with by others. It is quite amazing to me to consider that Masters themselves are often confronted by anger and violence at the hands of others. I’ve even noticed this in the reactions I’ve had from friends and acquaintances while visiting for instance Amma.

We may have certain desires we are working out with others and come to the recognition those things we held in common are not giving us the peace we experienced while at times in meditation. So we may find less a of a desire to join them in such activities. And, we may find more of a desire to be with people who gave us the peace and bliss that we have also experienced at times in meditation.
