Title: Mornings Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Feb 12, 2022 04:14 pm Waking in the morning to meditation, energizing and spending time reading spiritual material and here on the portal is always a happy time for me. Meditation in the morning seems to start the day off on a good footing and keep my mind centered alert and practicing the presence through the day… remembering the Masters.
Title: Re: Mornings Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Jun 06, 2022 05:23 am i had a realization today. Usually (not always) we have less going on in our mind in the morning. So it is a good time to meditate upon wakening. i noticed that later in the day my mind was full of many more thoughts and more difficult to clear them.
Early mornings are usually a little quieter and there is a feeling of internalization from the previous night; a feeling as though you have not completely left the night reveries and deeper levels of consciousness associated with the sleeping hours. The mind settles somewhat and peaceful and blissful hidden springs are allowed to surface.

When we sleep our breathing slows down and upon awakening I am more aware of it because the mind is more at peace. The neighborhood is quieter, the house is quieter, the restless thoughts movements and vibrations of others are more subdued if not silenced. An excellent time to meditate.

That is extremely helpful if someone comes in your life that encourages your practice of meditation and the memorable conditions are there for you to do so. I’ve been practicing so long now that I may even recognize that a mantra pops in my head and it comforts me to take up on its practice. |
