Title: Understanding the The Results to be Achieved from Kriya Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Dec 30, 2021 10:28 pm 1. Disconnecting of the life force from the senses and as a result of that the disconnecting of the mind from the senses.
2. Kriya switches off the life current and mind from the physical body and nervous system, it will reveal the way to free your soul from forced imprisonment in the physical body. ~ Paramahansa Yogananda Title: Re: Understanding the The Results to be Achieved from Kriya Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Dec 31, 2021 04:20 am Paramahansa Yogananda explains how the powerful technique of Kriya Yoga redirects energy away from the senses and back into the spine.
In man where the life energy flows, there the consciousness follows. The life current flowing downward from the brain carries the mind to the senses and to identify with the physical body and the domain of entangling matter. By the outward flow of prana to the senses of touch, sight, hearing, taste, and smell, they exert a magnetism of attachment to matter that habitually draws the consciousness outward, keeping one immersed in material consciousness and material desires. But through practice of the Kriya technique, the magnetism of sensory objects is over come by the building up of a stronger magnet in spine. P.Y. For me personally there really has been no incentive to practice meditation until I recognized what meditation and particularly Kriya was doing for me. Until someone finds a technique to draw the consciousness away from the restlessness of the senses and the attachments of the body and mind it is difficult to have a method for metaphysical, psychic and transcendental experiences to occur for us. We're lucky to have those who have dedicated their lives to these philosophies. I see a practice of renunciation for a greater reality.

I’m up and down Eric but I always come back to my practice and devotion to these philosophies. I think the fact that we constantly bring ourselves back to our sadhana is changing our lives in the long run. That is what I’ve found. The blessings of the people and places that I’ve seen and met is overwhelming evidence that I’m getting help. I’m happy for you that you too can see a greater reality ahead and in proximity to our physical lives here. We can get so involved in these physical lives that we lose track of the fact that there are other dimensions of life happening simultaneously and just as real and at times more real than this physical place we appear to inhabit. I have been blessed by Gurus and devotees alike, by unexplainable miracles, communications with unseen intelligence. Someone must care about me, which is a most comforting thought... I must credit these blessings to God, from God. By God. All God. I hope he can forgive me. I hope I can forgive me. I hope I can do better 2022. |
