Mark Chapman could not incorporate Lennon’s progressive innovative mind into the limited paradigms of western cultural religious views he was indoctrinated in as a youth and young man. And instead of seeing ahead he looked back to the times of religious persecution that still lingers strongly in this our culture.

I remember seeing photos/stories of bullet holes that could not have been caused by Chapman, but of course that kind of news has vanished.
