Title: The Great Patience
Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Aug 24, 2021 04:03 am
Some of us are aware of the great patience that awaits us with compassion, happiness and understanding. But until we have those qualities and can give them to others…. The great patience waits for us. Pray to have patience for others and for our own efforts.

Modern day instant gratification makes it much harder to have any patience. Maybe that's part of the reason why people are so touchy these days.

Love and patience... We desire these qualities, not always able to demonstrate them to our friends... But we remember what's more important and try again.

Often times we would like to react or act towards others, but we are constrained by an intuition that our thoughts and feelings will serve no productive purpose. At this time it is best to just wait and to practice patience in all manner. There may be other factors to consider that we are currently not aware of, or other people and situations may arise that make us see our thoughts and reactions in a different light.

Sometimes the situations others are going through that we feel a part of, may not be meant for us but we may arrive in a different environment or with others that pull us out of the temporary circumstances we feel part of. We may have to wait patiently for others to respond to our gestures or to ignore us before we can assess a proper outcome. Being ignored is sometimes a blessing in disguise, because it shows the insensitivity of those who use it as a conscious tactic.

Patience. That's the virtue I'm cultivating the most and without which I would be finished. An autistic son with problems will bestow you almost infinite patience.
But the world will provide likewise infinite occasions to cultivate such a virtue.
