Do you have a choice? Or is your Destiny pre-determined? Charmed* (ps I was not sure where to put this topic, if you need to move it - please leave a forwarding address, lol !) Title: Re: Destiny Post by: amorabsolutus on Dec 30, 2009 02:43 am This is an interesting topic for me, and there is never a concise answer.
It's interesting in that if destiny does exist then freewill does not exist. (Unless you want to make exceptions to rules.) Title: Our true Destiny Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Dec 30, 2009 04:34 am This is an interesting topic for me, and there is never a concise answer. It's interesting in that if destiny does exist then freewill does not exist. (Unless you want to make exceptions to rules.) There is and isn't destiny. There is and is not free will. We do not know what are destiny is so we must use free will and make choices. Although the infinite already knows the choices we will make we nevertheless must make those choices until we are locked into the will of God or divine order. Then we will truly be free since we will not make mistakes that go against our own true happiness. God has everything except our love. Until we give it we will not recieve it. Apart we offer is our only freedom. When we truly give love then the question of our destiny will be answered. Jitendra Title: Destiny Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Jan 06, 2010 03:52 am Enchanted to meet you Detlef. Yes, our choices can change the circumstances, but it is not always 'our choices' sometimes it is someone elses choice that changes our circumstance. So we really have no choice at times. And if one asks for guidance in making choices, where does the guidance come from? Guides, angels or who? Charmed*I'msure When you follow your divine destiny your choices will manifest those people that you need in your life. Those that you do not need will fall away. If they come back in your life it is only because you have manifested them by your awakening desire and spiritual understanding. Each one of us has his or her own guide angels and avatars depending on our current level of development and what suits are karmic background. It is our choices that have made the possibility of thinking that others have determined our destiny. However in reality we ourselves have made the choices that dictate the actions of those around us as well. It is by our own state of consciousness that creates our given situations. As we change our state of consciousness this becomes more evident. Blessings to all in this divine quest that has brought us at this point here and now. From this point we can make the choices that will lead to our further development and determine the environment and the people that come and leave in our lives. Is there a destiny? Destiny indicates an endpoint, the is no endpoint in infinity. Destiny Do you have a choice? Or is your Destiny pre-determined? Is there a destiny? Destiny indicates an endpoint, the is no endpoint in infinity. Detlef, I agree with you that we have choices, but I do not believe we choose every moment. Sometimes things happen ' to us ' that we have no control over. We are simply in the ' right ' or ' wrong ' place (depending on what is happening, depending on what we think at that moment in time) and things ' happen to us ' just because we were there at that moment. If destiny is an endpoint, and no endpoint in infinity, I am missing something here. We are all on a journey, seeking something, God or whatever our goal is, and the end of this journey is our destination, but if it is an end, how can it be infinity ? or am I lost in the words swimming in a sea of confusion ? Charmed* Title: Destiny Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Jan 14, 2010 08:59 am Pronunciation: \ˈdes-tə-nē\
Function: noun Inflected Form(s): plural des·ti·nies Etymology: Middle English destinee, from Anglo-French, from feminine of destiné, past participle of destiner Date: 14th century 1 : something to which a person or thing is destined : fortune <wants to control his own destiny> 2 : a predetermined course of events often held to be an irresistible power or agency synonyms see fate i do not think destiny refers to an endpoint. There are only endpoints for those who think linear. Joy is ever new bliss. Notice i say ever new. So where is the end point? Yet joy and bliss are our divine birth right and our destiny. Jitendra We have choices, we choose every moment. Is there a destiny? Destiny indicates an endpoint, the is no endpoint in infinity. Charmed*[/i] And who says God has an end to our destiny with him in infinity? Thinking too much makes it very difficult to meditate. When we experience we know that the mind cannot fathom such ideas as God. Meditation helps us experience. Those who feel they are already there and do not need to meditate have not yet had the ability to show this. It is all talk. If they cannot exhibit the qualities of cosmic and christ consciousness they still have a lot of meditating to do. They are only fooling themselves otherwise. Jitendra, I am following my divine destiny, and have manifested people that I need in my life, so why does it seem at times like they are so far away? I feel them close in my thoughts and in my heart, so they must be with me. love & magik* Charmed*I'msure Title: Re: Destiny Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Aug 06, 2010 06:52 am Yea we often 'live' our lives while were busy doing other things.

Some people are guided and helped by spiritual forces. Those forces help to keep us on track towards our true destiny~oneness with the infinite. When so called unfortunate events happen in our lives, they may be in fact fortuitous~meant to help us in our spiritual journey. Some of us are fortunate to recognize that sudden circumstances are often the hand of God interceding in our lives. That hand is not limited by human concepts of bad and good, painful or pleasurable etc. These are human interpretations.
However we are also tested by our karma and sometimes there are happenings in our lives that are not for our highest good. They come because of our desire nature and we gain strength by over coming their influence. Those who have an easy life do not have a successful life. Challenges help us grow in a spiritual sense. This life and this earth is a schoolhouse not Disneyland. Although to those who have enlightenment it appears all is beautiful and entertaining.
